Best women’s soccer goalkeeper in the world snubbed by Nike

Nike finds itself embroiled in controversy as England women’s soccer star goalkeeper Mary Earps has once again been excluded from a significant marketing campaign leading up to the Women’s Soccer World Cup. Moreover, her jersey is not being made available for sale to fans, despite the fact that Earps was named the Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper in 2022. This is not the first time Nike has overlooked Earps, as she was also not featured in their promotions before the Women’s Euros last year. “On a personal level, it’s obviously hugely hurtful,” expressed Earps about the exclusion.
