Elena Rybakina takes the Rome crown

Elena Rybakina secures her second WTA 1000 title this year, marking her fifth career triumph in total. Her victory came as Anhelina Kalinina from Ukraine was forced to retire during the second set due to injury. The final concluded with a score of 6-4, 1-0 in Rybakina’s favor. The final ended with 6-4, 1-0. “Of course, happy with the title,” Rybakina said in her post-match press conference. “Not the way I want to finish this match.”
